Gravesites

Highland Memorial Park has over 10,000 graves available. Graves are available in any number or arrangement that your family might need.

Graves may be purchased with no interest financing for a period of up to 3 years in some cases. Please contact our office for details.

The price of the graves depends on the location within the cemetery. Older sections tend to cost more; newer sections tend to cost less. The current range of prices for graves is $1,600 to $2,275.

These prices include a 15% Endowment Care Fee which is required by the State of Wisconsin. The entire cemetery is given uniform care. This is the only fee that is charged for the maintenance of the graves.

The purchase of a grave allows you the option of placing up to two (2) burials per grave, provided that at least one (1) of the burials is of cremated remains or of an infant.

The purchase of graves DOES NOT include burial fees, burial vaults, bronze memorials, etc…

Bronze Grave Markers

Highland Memorial Park allows the use of bronze grave memorials only to mark graves. This type of grave marker contributes to the park-like atmosphere and allows for more efficient maintenance of the grounds.

Highland Memorial Park offers bronze grave memorials in a variety of styles and sizes. There are types for an Individual name and also Two Name versions.

You may also choose to have a bronze grave memorial mounted on a beautiful granite foundation. We offer two colors: moonlight gray and Canadian mahogany. Both add a polished border around the memorial.

Bronze grave memorials may be purchased with no interest financing for a period of up to 3 years in some cases. Please contact our office for details.

Our prices range from $1,895 - $4,800 for individual memorials and from $3,520 - $8,200 for two name memorials.

In most cases, the above prices include all inscriptions, a built-in flower vase, a concrete foundation, installation, future inscriptions (if needed) and a deposit into the Highland Memorial Park Bronze Memorial Endowment Care Trust Fund.

In addition to our standard line of memorials we are proud to offer the Lasting Memories Montage Memorials, which allows our families the option of designing 'one of kind' memorials using the photos of their choice. Please ask us for more details about the Lasting Memories Montage Memorials.

Burial Vaults

Like most cemeteries, Highland Memorial Park requires the use of a burial vault. Burial vaults are used to stabilize the grave following a burial.

Any lot owner may prepay for a burial vault. Highland Memorial Park guarantees that the price of your purchase will never increase. Burial vaults must be paid in full at the time of the purchase.

Highland Memorial Park offers a full line of burial vaults. They come in several varieties. All are made of reinforced concrete. In addition, some contain features that enhance the strength and water resistance of the burial vault.

Unlined Burial Vaults $1,275 - $1,450
These are our basic burial vaults. One of these models features a special adhesive that binds the lid to the base and also enhances the water resistance.

Single Lined Burial Vaults $1,575 - $3,275
These are our most popular styles.
All single lined burial vaults have a plastic lining that totally surrounds the casket. This lining enhances the strength and water resistance of the burial vault. Each of these burial vaults also uses a special adhesive that binds the lid to the base and also enhances the water resistance.

Double Lined Burial Vaults $4,600 - $6,175
In addition to the plastic lining, double lined vaults have a second lining of metal. They are available in stainless steel, copper and bronze.

Bronze Grave Marker Restoration

Highland Memorial Park offers the service of restoring bronze grave memorials to their original color and beauty. After many years, all bronze memorials will begin to develop a 'patina' which is the natural aging of bronze.

Often, people prefer the way the memorial looked when it was new. Highland Memorial Park can restore any bronze memorial to its original condition.

Pre-funded Burial Fees

Pre-funding of burial fees is another popular way to plan for future burial costs. Any lot owner may prefund for a traditional burial (using a casket) or for the Burial or Entombment of Cremated Remains.

By pre-funding this expense, you minimize the future costs of burial or entombment. Funds are placed in an irrevocable trust and will earn interest. All interest is credited to the beneficiary. A final accounting will take place after the service is provided.

The current price of a weekday burial is as follows:

  • TRADITIONAL ADULT BURIAL - $1,700
(NOT including a Burial Vault)
  • CREMATED REMAINS BURIAL - $1,200
 (Including a Burial Vault)
  • ENTOMBMENT FEE - $595
 (In the Columbarium Only)

We offer burials on Saturdays upon request. An additional fee will be charged at that time. We also offer a tent for use in inclement weather. An extra fee may be charged for this service.

Medicaid recipients usually may prepay all other fees as described in this brochure.
