DESCRIPTION:As we do each year\, Highland Memorial Park will host a Memorial Day service on Monday May 26\, 2025.\nThe service will begin at 11:00 AM in Section 16. Section 16 is located in the southwest corner of the cemetery.\nThere will be a presentation by the New Berlin Hoeppner-Horn Bros. VFW Post 5716.\nTraditionally the following events occur: \n\nThe New Berlin Community Band will play patriotic songs (weather permitting)\nThe singing of the National Anthem\nA gun salute to honor Veterans\nSpeeches by local dignitaries\nA balloon release\nFiring of a replica Civil War Cannon\n\nPlease remember to bring your own chair and/or blanket.
